The multimedia projects presented on this website are based on narrative text from selected episodes of The Engines of Our Ingenuity, by University of Houston professor, John Lienhard. Digital versions of photographs, drawings, works of art, animations, video clips and other multimedia resources have been used to illustrate twelve episodes of the Engines of our Ingenuity, each dealing with Hoaxes.


The multimedia projects were produced by students at the University of Houston as part of their coursework in the Instructional Technology
Graduate Program and are intended for educational purposes and not for commercial use. The following graduate students participated in the creation of these multimedia projects:
